They tried to change my hand, but they ended up changing my mind.
As a child, I was forced to switch from using my left hand to my right due to cultural traditions. What seemed like a constraint became the catalyst for my most powerful asset: a uniquely wired brain.
This early challenge sparked a journey of cognitive flexibility and creative problem-solving that has defined my career. By adapting to write with my non-dominant hand, I unknowingly trained my brain to approach challenges from multiple angles, seeing possibilities where others saw obstacles.
Today, I leverage this “ambidextrous thinking” in my role as a Growth Coach and Mentor, where I: • Develop innovative solutions by merging seemingly unrelated concepts • Navigate complex problems with ease, switching perspectives effortlessly • Foster a culture of adaptability and resilience in my team
My story is a testament to the power of embracing change, even when it’s thrust upon us. What perceived limitations are you turning into your greatest strengths?
